Chopard Classic Racing Superfast Chrono
In celebration of Chopard’s 150th anniversary, they created a watch that showcases their advanced technology - the Chopard Classic Racing Superfast Chrono. It has been issued as a part of the brand’s famous Classic Racing collection, which includes the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique watches, the Jacky Ickx pieces as well as the Mille Miglia series. Inspired by the world of motor racing, it’s housed in an oversized 47.80 mm stainless steel case, that’s framed by a screw-down bezel, engraved with a tachometric scale. Its case is equipped with rectangular integrated pushers, rendered in black rubber-moulded stainless steel. It is also fitted with a screw-lock crown. The crown is marked with the Classic Racing collection steering-wheel emblem. It has a frosted black dial with huge Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock and vertical go-fast rhodium-plated stripes. As its name implies, the Chopard Classic Racing Superfast Chrono watch provides the chronograph function, operated by the aforementioned push-buttons, located at 2 and 4 o’clock. The watch is powered by a COSC-certified self-winding chronograph movement - ETA Calibre 2894.2 with a 42-hour power reserve. The new Chopard watch is mounted on an iconic rubber strap, adorned with the 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif.
